Along my spiritual journey I have realised that gratitude has completely changed my life. It has made me happier with life. It has allowed me to take control of my life. Using a gratitude journal every morning has made me appreciate my life in ways I never thought I could.
“Gratitude is a feeling of happiness that comes from appreciation”.
Benefits of gratitude
Gratitude helps you find reasons to be happy with your life just the way it is. This gives you an instant boost in your vibration, which makes you happy. Gratitude also brings your focus on the present moment, which is the ultimate form of mindfulness.
Physical sensations of gratitude
When you dedicate yourself to daily gratitude you can experience physical sensations that make you feel amazing! Here are some that you can look forward to:
- Your heart feels warm
- Feeling a tingling all over your body
- Your eyes well up and you may even cry
- Smiling so much your cheeks hurt
- You breathe deeply and decrease your heart rate
- Feeling calm and relaxed
Gratitude and the law of attraction
When you find reasons to be grateful, more wonderful things will come into your life, for you to be grateful for. It’s a beautiful cycle and it never fails. The law of attraction is always working, just like the laws of gravity.
Journaling and the law of attraction
The journaling process has so much power. Writing down your gratitude activates the law of attraction, and soon what you appreciate, will become part of your life experience even more.

My life has changed forever from journaling my gratitude. I dedicate 15 minutes each morning to the process. It took me around 3 months to get to the point where I could see that daily gratitude had changed my entire outlook on life. I have become a more positive person, and as a result, I am still addicted to my daily gratitude routine.
